Main duties

• Deliver food orders within the designated area using an insured vehicle.
• Operate store equipment and assist with everyday restaurant tasks.

• Prepare products and help process telephone orders.
• Track inventory and complete related paperwork.
• Keep equipment and the store clean on a regular basis.

Job requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and maintain a driving record that meets company standards. A personal insured vehicle must be available for deliveries. The role also calls for strong navigation ability, including reading maps, finding addresses in the delivery zone, and handling difficult terrain or multi-level buildings.

Success in the role requires good communication, the ability to understand written instructions, and comfort speaking with customers and coworkers by phone and in person. Candidates should be able to perform basic math quickly and accurately, make correct change, and use a keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.

Working conditions

The job involves exposure to changing weather, food odors, cornmeal dust, tight work areas, hot surfaces, mechanical equipment, and temperatures that can vary from cooler conditions to high-heat kitchen areas. The role also includes standing for most tasks, short-distance walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing loaded trays, and sometimes climbing stairs or ladders.
