Customer MRO Consultant

Role Summary

This position is part of a customer-facing MRO support function in the region. The consultant will guide the team across several workstreams, help align skills, processes, repair methods, and growth plans with current business needs, and contribute to building a setup that can scale as the organization expands.

Key Duties

• Help develop and strengthen the Saudi Technic JPC team so it can meet both present and upcoming business requirements.
• Provide oversight for planning, materials, customer support, and repair activities within the ST MRO environment.
• Partner with a cross-functional GE team to drive sustainable improvements in turnaround time and operational efficiency.
• Support the design and rollout of a repair strategy and growth plan that matches equipment capability and available repair approvals.
• Assist the ST team in building and executing a shop transition roadmap.
• Create and apply data-driven metrics to track performance and promote continuous improvement across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain key business metrics and share regular updates with MRO program leadership, the project core team, and the senior steering committee.
• Put in place a consistent communication process along with a metrics reporting pack.
• Support the development, reporting, and analysis of first-time yield in repair operations.
• Encourage the use of Lean Six Sigma and change management methods and tools.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should bring project management experience and a background in developing MRO capabilities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent practical knowledge.
• At least 12 years of total experience, including a minimum of 5 years in an MRO setting.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Background

• Experience with CFM engines.
• Strong mentoring capability.
• Proven ability to assess issues and work through solutions.
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma practices.
