Role Overview
Releaf is seeking a data-led CRM Manager to own the full patient communications strategy across email and SMS. This is a remote-first position with occasional in-person meetings.
The ideal candidate will approach CRM like a series of experiments, focusing on measurable outcomes such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and lifetime value. You will have the freedom and responsibility to rebuild and improve the communication infrastructure while working closely with the Growth team and wider marketing function to make every patient interaction purposeful, effective, and trackable.
What You Will Do
You will lead the patient communications strategy from the first interaction through retention, ensuring that CRM activity supports conversion and long-term patient value. Your work will involve auditing the existing journey, redesigning automations, managing campaigns, and continuously testing and refining performance.
Platform and Data Ownership
You will handle the technical and operational side of CRM in Klaviyo and Power Two, including segmentation, automation structure, database management, and deliverability monitoring. A strong analytical mindset is essential, along with the ability to build reports, identify trends, and recommend improvements based on data.
Collaboration and Compliance
This role requires close partnership with Growth, brand, and content teams to align messaging, tone, and campaign planning. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all patient communications and data handling remain aligned with the regulatory and compliance expectations of the medical cannabis sector.
Experience and Profile
Releaf is looking for someone with strong CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention experience, ideally gained in healthcare, healthtech, or another regulated B2C environment. The role suits someone who enjoys taking full ownership, works well in a fast-moving environment, and is comfortable managing and mentoring junior team members.
Previous exposure to healthcare, regulated industries, and team management would be an advantage. A genuine interest in patient-centred communication, strong writing ability, and the flexibility to adapt tone for different audiences and lifecycle stages are important for success in this position.
