Key duties

• Keep all pub areas clean, including guest spaces, toilets, the bar, the kitchen, staff rooms, and outside sections.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in line with the site’s operating procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to the correct process.
• Track cleaning stock and let the manager know when supplies need replenishing.
• Escalate maintenance concerns and pest-control issues to the manager on duty.
• Greet customers courteously and use polite service language such as saying hello, thank you, and goodbye.
• Complete induction training, job-specific training, refresher sessions, and ongoing improvement activities.

Working pattern

The pubs operate from early morning until late at night, so shifts may vary and can include mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes. The listed schedule is 8 hours per week, with hours shown as 6:30 to 8:30 every day from Monday through Sunday.
