Role overview

As a Caregiver at Summerset Mountain View Village, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and enjoyable lifestyle for residents. The position is hands-on and involves supporting residents with day-to-day personal care and assistance.

Key duties

• Provide meals to residents and support them during mealtimes.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including showering.
• Support individual care plans, including helping with walks and exercise.
• Take part in recreational activities such as puzzles, table tennis, and similar pastimes.

Work pattern

This is a full-time position involving 60 to 80 hours per fortnight. The roster follows a 4-days-on, 2-days-off pattern on the morning shift.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and naturally caring, with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships are important.
