Role overview
This position is for a sales-focused professional who will help create new business opportunities across the APAC region. The role involves connecting with prospective customers, following up on marketing-generated leads, and booking meetings for the Account Executive team. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to reach the right audience with the right message.
Precisely is an AI-first organization, and employees are expected to use AI tools to improve productivity, strengthen output quality, and reduce repetitive work. Candidates should be comfortable using generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT in their daily work, reviewing AI output critically, and adapting to new AI capabilities over time.
Responsibilities
- Reach out proactively to new prospects across APAC and work with Account Executives to secure qualified meetings.
- Respond to inbound leads from campaigns, webinars, events, and other marketing efforts, then qualify them and arrange first meetings for the sales team.
- Develop a solid understanding of Precisely’s product portfolio so you can explain its value, connect solutions to customer pain points, and highlight key differentiators.
- Use research and prospecting platforms such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Lusha to identify contacts and build targeted outreach lists.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, and other interactions in Salesforce and Outreach, while keeping your pipeline current and sharing weekly progress updates with your manager.
- Work with Marketing and Sales Operations to provide feedback on lead quality and help improve lead qualification processes.
- Partner with the Marketing team on initiatives that increase awareness of Precisely’s offerings in your region.
- Use AI tools in day-to-day work to research accounts, personalize outreach, and operate more efficiently.
- Take part in sales campaigns, product training, and enablement sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay aligned with the company’s go-to-market approach.
- Organize your own workload effectively across multiple accounts and outreach sequences to meet weekly and monthly targets.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is acceptable.
- About 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing position is preferred, though candidates earlier in their careers may also be considered.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and decision-makers.
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo is helpful but not mandatory.
- Comfort using AI tools as part of everyday work, along with an interest in learning how to use them effectively.
- Willingness to travel 1–2 times per year for events and team meetings.
- Multilingual ability in Mandarin or Bahasa is considered an added advantage.
