Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager position in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building a qualified sales pipeline, and developing lasting relationships with prospects, partners, and important stakeholders. Success in the role is measured by revenue growth, new client acquisition, and the expansion of DigiTax’s footprint in target markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Research the market to uncover potential opportunities and emerging demand.
- Identify, engage, and qualify prospects to build a healthy pipeline of leads.
- Present DigiTax’s offerings to prospective customers in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Prepare commercial proposals, handle negotiations, and move deals through to closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to improve go-to-market execution and customer outcomes.
- Track progress against revenue and acquisition goals, using performance metrics to guide action.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in business development, sales, and account management, ideally within B2B SaaS or technology services.
- At least 5 years of experience in the UAE market, preferably across fintech, SaaS, technology services, or technical sales.
- An active professional network among UAE B2B companies.
- Ability to perform in a demanding, fast-moving sales environment with short conversion cycles.
- Demonstrated history of meeting a minimum of 90% of monthly sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and strongly focused on results.
- Comfort with a 60/40 OTE compensation model.
- Working knowledge of e-invoicing, tax compliance, fintech products, or comparable technology solutions, with the ability to explain technical ideas in business language.
- Hands-on experience with market research, lead generation, pipeline management, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with product, operations, and customer success functions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a data-led approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or professional certifications are advantageous.
- Prior exposure to the UAE or GCC region and familiarity with local business practices.
- Comfortable adapting to a high-growth environment and changing regulatory or market conditions.
