Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a sharp, structured Business Analyst to join a remote team. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges, review workflows, and turn insights into practical, data-backed improvements that strengthen efficiency, lower costs, and help the business scale.

Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and record business needs from different stakeholders.
• Convert business goals into clear functional requirements, workflow maps, and user stories.
• Review existing processes and suggest ways to make them more effective.
• Carry out market, operational, and financial analysis to inform business decisions.
• Prepare and keep updated BRDs, FRDs, and other process-related documentation.
• Work with product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to roll out solutions.
• Track KPIs and business metrics to evaluate performance and outcomes.
• Assist with testing, deployment, and change management efforts.
• Run stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations as needed.
• Spot risks, dependencies, and areas where processes can be optimized.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in business analysis or a comparable role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Ability to gather requirements and document business processes clearly.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
• Preferred: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or ECBA certification.
• Preferred: Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or other collaboration tools.
• Preferred: Understanding of business intelligence and data analysis concepts.
• Preferred: Background in fintech, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce, or consulting.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with distributed or global teams.
