Architectural Designer

Job Purpose

This role is focused on shaping architectural concepts and supporting early-stage feasibility work, while also spotting and assessing new investment possibilities that can help expand the company’s real estate development pipeline. It brings together design thinking and commercial insight to turn ideas into projects that are both buildable and financially sound.

Key Responsibilities

• Create initial architectural concepts and develop early design stages in line with the project brief and market requirements.
• Assess land use options and study the best way to plan and utilize project sites.
• Produce and review drawings, visual materials, and presentation packages.
• Work closely with consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep the design coordinated and integrated.
• Make sure all design work follows municipal codes, approvals, and applicable regulations.
• Track design progress through later stages until the project moves into execution.
• Identify, research, and assess new investment opportunities and potential real estate projects.
• Carry out market research and competitor analysis to guide investment choices.
• Assist with feasibility studies and financial modelling for proposed developments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and strategic partners.
• Help prepare competition entries, presentations, and project proposals or bids.
• Contribute to the company’s expansion plans and overall project portfolio development.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required; a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development or an MBA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture, real estate development, or mixed-use projects.
• Good understanding of the real estate development lifecycle and feasibility analysis.
• Exposure to or knowledge of business development and investment evaluation is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with architectural tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Strong skills in communication, presentations, and negotiation.
• Arabic language ability is considered a plus.
