Business Development (Sales) Intern

About the internship

VIAVEDA is looking for a Business Development (Sales) intern to support lead generation, client outreach, and revenue-focused sales activities. This role offers practical exposure to sales operations in a fast-moving environment, where you will help identify prospects, connect with them through outbound calls, and nurture client relationships. You will also use MS-Excel to review sales information and monitor key performance indicators, while relying on strong spoken English to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.

What you will do

• Reach out to prospective customers through cold calls to create leads and arrange meetings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations and pitch materials.
• Work with MS-Excel to examine sales data, spot patterns, and identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with the sales team to shape strategies and support target achievement.
• Deliver helpful customer support to maintain a positive client experience.
• Contribute to the overall progress and growth of the sales function.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open only to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, begin between 30 June 2026 and 4 August 2026, and stay for 6 months. Requirements

Stipend and pay structure

The monthly stipend ranges from INR 21,000 to INR 35,000. The compensation is structured as fixed pay of INR 18,000 to INR 25,000 per month, along with incentive pay of INR 3,000 to INR 10,000 per month.
