Technical Recruiter

Role overview

EVONA is expanding its team and is seeking seasoned recruiters to support clients across the Space and Defense technology landscape in the United States.

In this role, you will manage the full hiring journey for some of the sector’s most innovative organizations. Your work will include finding talent, screening candidates, coordinating with hiring managers, and working closely with founders and leadership teams to help secure top hires.

What you will do

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for technical roles across Space and Defense tech companies.
• Source and assess candidates through the full hiring funnel.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
• Work directly with founders, shareholders, and senior decision-makers throughout the recruitment process.
• Operate independently and take ownership of recruitment delivery from start to finish.

Experience and requirements

• Hands-on recruiting experience in the Space and/or Defense technology sector.
• Prior in-house or internal recruiting experience for a client or organization.
• Background working with VC-backed and PE-backed businesses, including fast-moving and high-scrutiny environments.
• Ability to independently manage the full recruitment process.
• Confidence in engaging with founders and senior stakeholders.
