Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Technical Inspector position in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on carrying out detailed checks of aircraft, aircraft components, and associated systems to confirm airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with internal maintenance standards. The inspector reviews maintenance paperwork, work orders, and technical records to ensure tasks are completed using approved data and procedures. The position also involves working closely with maintenance, engineering, and logistics teams to close out discrepancies, assist with troubleshooting, and validate corrective actions. In addition, the role supports continuous improvement by flagging recurring issues, contributing to audits, and reinforcing a strong safety and quality culture within the maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft, components, and related systems in detail to verify airworthiness and conformity with applicable requirements.
• Check maintenance documentation, work orders, and technical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Confirm that maintenance tasks are performed in line with approved data, procedures, and company standards.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, and logistics teams to investigate and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Support troubleshooting activities and validate that corrective actions have been implemented properly.
• Identify recurring defects or process issues and report them to help drive improvement.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Promote safe working practices, quality compliance, and operational discipline across the maintenance setting.

Requirements

• Background in aircraft maintenance inspection or quality assurance within an aviation MRO, OEM, or military setting.
• Solid understanding of aviation regulations, maintenance manuals, technical publications, and inspection standards for fixed-wing and/or rotary-wing aircraft.
• Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, maintenance records, and digital files.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance, with a methodical approach to identifying and recording discrepancies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with cross-functional maintenance, engineering, and logistics groups in a fast-moving environment.
• Technical qualification or certification in aviation maintenance, such as an aircraft maintenance license, aviation engineering diploma, or an equivalent credential.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management systems, digital inspection tools, and common office applications.
• Willingness to work on site in Abu Dhabi, follow shift schedules when needed, and adapt to operational or mission-driven priorities.
• Experience in military aviation, defense contracting, or regional MRO operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
