Role overview

APL Window Solutions is looking for a Storeperson to support logistics and freight handling in Waikato, New Zealand. This position is centered on accurate collection, loading, and dispatch coordination across the APL group network.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up the correct products from different APL group site customers and return them to the logistics centre, making sure the goods collected and the accompanying paperwork match the request.
• Check and arrange outbound freight carefully, keeping all necessary records up to date and confirming that the manifest aligns with the full order quantity.
• Load aluminium and related components from the logistics centre, including APL, APLM, Finex, Inex, IML, and PPL stock, onto trucks as needed.
• Load other items for transport onto trucks whenever required.
• Secure all APL Direct truck loads safely so that outgoing products are protected from damage during transit.
• Hand over the required delivery documents to drivers, together with route plans and any other paperwork needed for the day’s deliveries.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with APL customers and internal staff at all times.
• Stay in regular nightly contact with the APL Direct Night Shift Team Leader.
