Description de l'emploi
About the role
Zambrero is looking for Shift Supervisors to join its Edwardstown restaurant team. This is a full-time onsite position in a lively, people-focused environment where you’ll help keep service running smoothly while supporting the team and the customer experience.
About Zambrero
Zambrero is Australia’s largest Mexican franchise, known for serving fresh and healthy food while supporting the fight against world hunger. The menu includes burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos made with fresh ingredients and homemade guacamole. Because restaurants trade day and night, the role offers flexibility around different routines. Through the Plate 4 Plate initiative, one meal is donated for every bowl or burrito sold.
What’s on offer
- A friendly workplace with a fun, supportive culture
- The opportunity to contribute to a mission that helps combat world hunger
- Real room to progress, with past team members moving into Restaurant Manager and Support Office roles
- Flexible shifts that can suit study, family, and other priorities, with work finishing before midnight
- A clean work setting with minimal greasy equipment
Key duties
In this role, you’ll help lead the shift and make sure restaurant operations stay efficient, organised, and consistent with Zambrero standards.
- Guide the team through smooth day-to-day restaurant operations
- Set the example for the values, behaviour, and culture expected at Zambrero
- Support training and development so the team can deliver great customer experiences
- Help recruit and onboard new team members
- Assist with team management tasks such as performance reviews and staff rostering
- Make sure food is prepared, plated, and served to a high standard
- Support stock ordering from suppliers
- Help with administrative tasks including paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and policy reviews
- Oversee daily and weekly cleaning of production spaces, dining areas, and the wider restaurant
- Assist with the rollout of marketing promotions
- Promote and maintain workplace health and safety, security, and staff training around these standards
What you’ll need
- A genuine interest in Zambrero’s humanitarian values and a desire to make a positive impact
- A strong commitment to building a positive restaurant culture centred on service, teamwork, and helping others
- Clear communication and active listening skills for working with customers and colleagues
- A neat, professional, and well-groomed presentation at all times
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks and adjust to changing customer demand
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-moving environment
