Scan Coordinator

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-focused work and is interested in learning about products in a fast-moving retail setting. As a Scan Coordinator, you will help protect pricing accuracy while contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers. What You Will Do

• Carry out price updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including shelf labels, tags, and promotional signage.
• Check weekly ad changes, promotional prices, and signage accuracy across all store departments.
• Help maintain full compliance with company policies and applicable government regulations.
• Work efficiently and with precision to support pricing integrity throughout the store.
• Perform well in a fast-paced environment and contribute to smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 1 to 3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities are needed to review scanning programs, maintain reports and schedules, and understand billing and accounting basics.
• Good math skills and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential.
• You should bring a friendly, outgoing attitude and be comfortable interacting with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
• Availability for varied shifts and days based on business needs is required.
• You must be able to read price labels, prepare signs, post tags, operate a computer to activate pricing, use a stapler and scanner, and work from a step ladder.
• Good vision is necessary for reading and setting signage.
• You should be able to move boxes weighing up to 17 lbs vertically and horizontally from 1 inch to 34 inches, over a distance of up to 8 feet for as long as 1 hour.
• The job also requires extended walking, up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift, and repeated crouching, kneeling, and squatting to reach low points for up to 50 hours.
