Role Overview

This opening is based in Hyderabad and is a full-time position. The company is hiring both Salesforce Commerce Cloud front-end and back-end developers. The role is suited to engineers who can build high-quality commerce experiences, work closely with design and product teams, and contribute in an agile delivery setup.

Front-End Responsibilities

• Build and support responsive, fast, and polished user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Work with PWA Kit to develop and improve progressive web app experiences; training may be provided if required.
• Translate UI/UX designs into accurate implementations while maintaining design-system consistency and accessibility standards.
• Connect frontend components with APIs, headless CMS tools, and backend services.
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams throughout Scrum or Kanban-based development cycles.
• Improve browser and device compatibility, frontend performance, and issue resolution.
• Write maintainable, modular, and testable code aligned with internal standards and industry practices.
• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, mentoring, and ongoing codebase improvement.
• Keep track of new frontend technologies and suggest practical enhancements where useful.
• Contribute to better development and deployment processes over time.

Back-End Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend and backend components using PWA Kit, SFRA, and Node.js.
• Develop and enhance integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, inventory tools, CRM, and CMS platforms using REST, GraphQL, and similar APIs.
• Create secure, flexible, and high-performing backend services that fit composable commerce principles.
• Work alongside frontend engineers to enable API-first and headless commerce experiences.
• Implement business logic for complex e-commerce use cases.
• Estimate, plan, and deliver technical tasks within agile teams, including sprint ceremonies and code reviews.
• Support deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines, preferably in AWS or Azure environments.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance across both frontend and backend systems.
• Stay updated on evolving e-commerce and composable commerce practices.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers when needed.

Required Background

The ideal applicant should have strong experience in modern JavaScript and React. Prior exposure to PWA Kit is preferred, and direct SFCC experience is helpful but not mandatory if the candidate can learn quickly with training. For the backend-facing role, hands-on knowledge of PWA Kit and SFRA is expected, along with Node.js, API integrations, and familiarity with cloud deployment practices.
