Role overview
This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity in Florida, focused on expanding market share and accelerating revenue in a regulated beverage segment. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on field execution across distributor and retail channels. You will build durable commercial relationships with wholesalers, retailers, dispensaries, and major accounts while helping strengthen brand visibility in a competitive environment. Close collaboration with marketing and compliance teams is a core part of the job, along with leading a regional team and using market insights to guide growth decisions.
This position is being handled on behalf of a partner organization, which will manage the application review process and all subsequent hiring steps.
Key responsibilities
- Create and carry out a Florida-wide sales plan to deliver and surpass revenue and distribution goals, with a focus on strong market coverage and long-term growth.
- Develop trusted, performance-driven relationships with distributors, wholesalers, dispensaries, retailers, and other strategic accounts.
- Spot and pursue new commercial opportunities that expand brand reach and product availability across important sales channels.
- Lead a regional sales team, setting clear goals, encouraging ownership, and coaching the team to consistently perform at a high level.
- Partner with marketing teams on trade programs, in-store activations, and promotional campaigns that improve consumer engagement.
- Make sure all activity follows the relevant regulations, and help channel partners understand product value and changing industry expectations.
- Track competitor moves, market changes, and account performance, then turn those observations into actionable commercial decisions.
Experience and requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in beverage sales, ideally in adult beverages or regulated cannabis-related categories.
- A solid history of growing business through distributor and retail networks in regulated markets.
- Established connections within Florida wholesalers and retail channels are a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of compliance rules tied to THC or other regulated beverage products.
- Proven ability to coach, guide, and strengthen sales teams.
- Strong analytical ability, including interpreting market data and converting it into practical action.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Florida.
