Description de l'emploi
Role overview
The Retail Supervisor is responsible for keeping stock movement organised and making sure the warehouse and retail store run smoothly. The role covers receiving and dispatching goods, keeping inventory records accurate, supporting stock placement and replenishment, and coordinating deliveries. This position reports to the Assistant Retail Manager.
Key responsibilities
You will support daily operations across two locations: the warehouse and the retail store. This includes checking incoming orders, counting items, labelling prices, and putting stock away while ensuring inventory records remain correct.
You will also help prepare outgoing orders through picking and packing, keep stock arranged and stored properly, assist with replenishing retail shelves, carry out inventory spot checks and cycle counts, and make the best use of available storage space for both new and existing stock.
Other duties include coordinating deliveries from offsite storage to the stores by booking with local partners, following inventory processes set by retail management and finance, keeping warehouse and storage areas clean and tidy, assisting with hardware dismantling when needed and in line with guidelines, supporting day-to-day retail tasks, following safe work practices, and taking on ad hoc tasks assigned by the retail manager.
Experience and skills
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of retail management experience and is comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings. Experience with POS systems is preferred, along with the ability to handle all retail and F&B floor functions.
This role requires the ability to stock and retrieve merchandise, as well as lift, push, pull, and unload items weighing 10 to 15 kg. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, along with the ability to work well with both management and staff. A positive attitude, accountability, teamwork, computer literacy, confidence using Excel, a sharp eye for detail, and good numerical accuracy are also essential.
Additional requirements
A food safety and hygiene certification is preferred. The role also requires a willingness to work in a team-oriented setting and to take responsibility for one’s own actions.
Compensation note
The stated salary range for this position is SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,000 per month. Candidates are advised to apply only if they are comfortable with this pay range.
