What you will do
- Welcome patients and walk them through the imaging process in a clear, reassuring manner.
- Set up and operate diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Place patients correctly to ensure the most accurate imaging results.
- Keep a close watch on patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Review imaging outcomes with radiologists and other medical professionals as needed.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation and records.

- Use a variety of imaging methods, including X-ray, CT, and MRI, where required.
- Stay informed about new developments, tools, and practices in radiography and imaging technology.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Radiography.
- Current license or certification permitting practice as a Radiographer.
- Hands-on experience using imaging equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Good working knowledge of imaging techniques such as X-ray, CT scanning, and MRI.
- Strong awareness of radiation safety rules and clinical guidelines.
- Careful, detail-focused approach to producing precise diagnostic images.
- Good communication and people skills for working with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and switch between tasks efficiently.
- Strong commitment to patient care and willingness to keep learning.
