About the Role
The Portfolio Operations Manager will be responsible for handling legal paperwork, safeguarding collateral, and coordinating compliance tasks after loans are closed across the venture lending portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate loan amendments, waivers, and other required legal documents.
- Ensure custody procedures are followed for collateral items such as stock certificates and warrants.
- Handle UCC-related filings and support lien perfection activities.
- Review documentation carefully to ensure files are complete and audit-ready.
- Work closely with investment, legal, and accounting teams on portfolio-related matters.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in loan operations or collateral custody, ideally within a BDC or private credit organization.
- Solid organizational ability and strong command of legal documentation processes.
- Practical experience in collateral handling and UCC filing work.
- Highly detail-focused and able to juggle several deadlines in a busy environment.
