Role overview
This position is for an Oracle Database Administrator / C++ support professional based in Hyderabad. The role blends database administration with application and production support duties, particularly across Oracle, Linux, and C++ environments.
Key responsibilities
The selected person will handle Oracle DBA activities along with support for C++ applications. Core work includes monitoring systems, resolving incidents, investigating root causes, maintaining database security, and supporting production systems.
- Manage Oracle database administration tasks.
- Support C++ applications in a production environment.
- Work with Linux systems and command-line operations.
- Use Control-M for scheduling and job coordination.
- Carry out backup and recovery procedures.
- Perform patching and database performance tuning.
- Handle incident management and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain database security and ongoing monitoring.
- Provide production support as needed.

Applicants should hold any graduate degree.
