Role Overview

This full-time, non-exempt Operations Associate role supports U.S. destination operations in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The position focuses on managing ocean and air import shipments end to end, maintaining strong data accuracy, and addressing delays quickly and proactively.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee shipments from start to finish, making sure they move on schedule and that service quality stays consistently high.
  • Handle exceptions early and work to prevent disruptions in the shipment lifecycle.
  • Communicate regularly with trucking and warehousing partners and take ownership of partner coordination.
  • Follow standard operating procedures closely while working toward KPIs and SLAs.
  • Use metrics and data to spot opportunities for better performance and stronger data quality.
  • Work with sales and account management teams through feedback loops to help meet customer needs.
  • Contribute ideas and actions that improve processes and support team growth.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or ocean carrier operations.
