Role Overview

The Laundry Worker supports the Laundry Services team at Yarmouth Regional Hospital in the Western Zone. This permanent hourly full-time position is responsible for helping keep laundry and linen operations running safely, smoothly, and in line with department rules, applicable regulations, and workplace standards.

The role focuses on handling both soiled and clean linen flow so that customers receive safe, sanitary, and appropriately supplied products. The work must be performed professionally and in a way that supports the wider mission and objectives of Nova Scotia Health.

Key Duties

  • Operate laundry department equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow established standards, regulations, and internal policies while carrying out daily tasks.
