Role overview

Datamatics Technologies is looking for a Junior Data Scientist / Forecasting Analyst to join its offshore India team. This contract assignment runs for 4 months and may be extended. The start date is 1st July 2026. The role is suited to someone with 3–4 years of total professional experience, including at least 1.5 years working on data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, or forecasting assignments.

The position supports demand forecasting and predictive analytics work in collaboration with senior data scientists and business stakeholders. Key responsibilities

  • Help implement, run, and maintain demand forecasting and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Review historical sales patterns, demand behavior, and related business inputs to produce useful insights.

Requirements

  • Experience working with structured data and analytical workflows.
