Job Summary
This role is responsible for keeping the inside and outside of the facility, as well as the surrounding grounds, clean, orderly, and safe. The position also includes removing waste and recycling, and helping maintain sanitary conditions throughout the site.
Key Duties
- Carry out regular cleaning of industrial flooring, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Disinfect and tidy restrooms, break rooms, and other shared spaces.
- Collect waste and recycling from bins and dispose of it according to company procedures.
- Use industrial cleaning tools and machines such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment neat, stocked, and organized.
- Work in line with safety rules, procedures, and workplace guidelines to support a safe environment.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required. Prior work in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred, though not mandatory. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals is an advantage.
