Role overview
This walk-in opportunity is for an Internal Auditor based in Chennai. The role focuses on reviewing bills, vouchers, reimbursements, inventory movement, and related operational controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper approval flow across departments.
Key responsibilities
- Check and validate bills for Sodexo, maintenance, and other non-medical services.
- Negotiate rates for new and existing maintenance and non-medical purchases.
- Process and approve bills from different departments for payment.
- Review and clear cash vouchers and allowance-related payments.
- Inspect scrap handling and the process used for its disposal.
- Examine bio-waste, diesel, and similar operational records.
- Audit inward and outward material movement.
- Maintain inventory control and keep stock records updated for medical and laboratory items.
- Verify IP and OP refund requests and approve them for payment where applicable.
- Prepare other management reports as needed.
