About the role
BELL Architecture creates environments that improve how businesses operate, how people connect, and how industries grow. The firm is looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join its architectural team and help deliver inventive workplace, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects. In this role, you will work with architects, clients, consultants, and builders to shape spaces that combine strong functionality, efficient planning, and high-quality design.
The practice is expanding and takes pride in a collaborative team culture, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and motivated by designing spaces that are both practical and visually engaging.
What you will do
- Create interior design concepts, workplace strategies, and spatial planning solutions.
- Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation packages in Revit.
- Choose and specify finishes, fixtures, furniture, and materials that fit the design intent, project goals, and budget.
- Work closely with architects, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Take part in client workshops, meetings, and design presentations.
- Prepare documentation in line with applicable Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
- Assist with project delivery from feasibility and concept stages through construction and final handover.
- Support the ongoing development of the studio’s design standards and project quality.

- A qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the Australian market.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong capabilities in documentation and coordination.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving approach grounded in practicality.
- The ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
