Description de l'emploi
About the Company
Plaid builds financial connectivity infrastructure that helps businesses create products and services used by millions of people to manage money more effectively. Its platform supports a wide network of financial institutions across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, and is used by companies ranging from startups to major banks and large enterprises.
Role Overview
As an Implementation Specialist, you will guide Plaid’s most strategic customers and partners through the integration and launch process. The role focuses on making sure new customers are onboarded smoothly, the solution is implemented successfully, and the launch sets a strong foundation for long-term customer success. You will often manage several implementations at once while staying current on new Plaid products and technologies.
What You Will Do
- Support strategic customers in building applications and platforms across areas such as consumer lending, mortgage, wealth management, financial management, account opening, student loan refinancing, property technology, and related use cases.
- Own the full customer engagement from technical scoping and solution design to project tracking, milestone management, and long-term success planning.
- Act as the primary trusted contact during implementation and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including project and product managers, engineers, and senior leaders.
- Run effective in-person meetings when needed, including kickoff sessions, technical integration reviews, and pre-launch or post-launch support.
- Work closely with account executives, sales engineers, account managers, and technical account managers to help customers build end-to-end workflows aligned with Plaid’s technical best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to improve onboarding by converting customer and partner feedback into actionable product insights for product and engineering.
- Create repeatable implementation playbooks and improve delivery processes to make implementations more efficient.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing or technology-oriented role that combines business understanding with technical depth; experience with credit and enterprise customers is especially valuable.
- Background in traveling onsite and leading productive in-person meetings such as kickoffs, integration reviews, and launch support sessions.
- Proven experience handling complex technical projects with a customer-first mindset and strong empathy.
- Strong project management and communication abilities, including the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on familiarity with APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and similar technologies.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and understand complex technical systems such as APIs, databases, and reporting tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a consistent drive to deepen technical knowledge.
- Experience working across functions and collaborating with different teams and personalities.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
- Comfort working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and handling unexpected blockers.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
