Role overview
As an HR Executive, you will support the end-to-end functioning of the HR department by helping shape policies, processes, and systems while also assisting with day-to-day employee and administrative matters. The role spans recruitment support, training and development coordination, compensation and benefits input, performance review activities, employee relations cases, record keeping, compliance monitoring, and HR reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Support the design, rollout, maintenance, and review of HR initiatives, procedures, policies, and systems.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, publishing vacancies, and coordinating the hiring workflow.
- Contribute to training, learning, development, and compensation and benefits programs.
- Take part in performance appraisal processes.
- Manage disciplinary matters and employee grievances with discretion and professionalism.
- Keep employee files up to date, including attendance information and equal employment opportunity data.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, labor rules, and legal requirements, including workplace conditions.
- Analyze HR information, identify trends, and help produce insights that support employee engagement and business performance.
- Handle more involved HR data tasks, support colleagues, and help improve data capture tools and administrative workflows.
- Advise managers on employee relations cases, document recommended actions, and support them in formal hearings where needed.
- Prepare a range of reports and summaries using HR data and analytics.
- Work within defined procedures and contribute toward set operational goals.
- Review standard compliance or regulatory issues and help resolve urgent concerns using established processes.
- Create and organize complex documents using office applications and other technology tools.
- Compile and summarize information for special-purpose reports.
- Maintain and update Microsoft files, databases, and other departmental systems, and provide practical best-practice support.
- Build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and deliver professional support with guidance from senior team members.
- Strengthen understanding of company policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and conduct expectations.
- Seek approval from a supervisor or manager before making exceptions to mandatory procedures.
- Develop your own capability through assessments, development planning, training, and coaching.
- Stay current on technology, regulations, and industry practices through continuous learning, conferences, and professional reading.
