Role overview
Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in the Greater Portsmouth Area. This position is for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently and interacting with customers while delivering online shopping orders.
The hourly pay is £13.71.
What the role is about
You will represent the brand at the customer’s door, making sure groceries are delivered promptly and in excellent condition. The job suits someone who takes pride in dependable service and can balance time on the road with occasional support in store.
Key responsibilities
- Load the van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual-handling practices.
- Drive with care and comply with all safe-driving standards.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks before and during shifts.
- Make sure products reach customers in the best possible condition.
- Deliver friendly, high-quality customer service at every drop-off.
- Support the store team when extra help is needed.
- Work independently and organise your time effectively.
- Be available for shifts that may fall anywhere between 6:00am and 11:00pm.
Who should apply
Applicants should be positive, reliable and customer-focused, with a strong sense of road safety and the ability to meet deadlines. A full driving licence is required, held for at least 3 years, and the applicant must have no more than 6 points on their licence.
