Role Overview

The Handyman will take care of day-to-day upkeep and general repairs across the property. The role exists to keep all areas safe, operational, and well presented so that guests and colleagues enjoy a smooth experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repair work throughout the property each day.
• Assist with and help implement preventive maintenance routines.
• Quickly attend to maintenance calls and equipment failures.
• Handle basic air-conditioning work such as filter cleaning and simple servicing.
• Resolve plumbing issues including leaks and replacement of fixtures and fittings.
• Complete paint touch-ups and other general finishing tasks.
• Perform minor carpentry repairs and installation work.
• Undertake basic welding repairs when needed.
• Support the collection, movement, and handling of maintenance stock and materials.
• Look after tools and equipment and keep work areas neat and orderly.
• Provide additional help with operational and maintenance tasks as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• Broad maintenance knowledge covering electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and similar trades.
• A trustworthy and reliable approach with consistent professionalism.
• Strong ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Effective spoken and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license would be an added advantage.
