Role Overview

Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands is looking for a refined, guest-focused Front Desk Host to join the Front Office team. The role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy luxury hotel setting, creates authentic rapport with guests, and is motivated by delivering consistently memorable service.

What You Will Be Doing

In this position, you will ensure smooth check-in and check-out experiences and act as a reliable representative of the hotel. You will proactively understand guest needs, handle questions and requests with assurance and professionalism, and provide a level of service that goes beyond expectations.

What the Role Calls For

• 1 to 2 years of experience in front office operations at a well-known luxury hotel brand.
• Strong enthusiasm for luxury hospitality and a track record of creating standout guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and people skills, with a friendly, confident, and approachable manner.
• Smart professional appearance, strong grooming standards, and a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to stay composed, practical, and solution-focused in a high-pressure environment.
• Good planning, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and a cooperative team approach.
• Familiarity with front office platforms such as Reserve and OPERA Cloud is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a similar discipline.
• Strong spoken and written English is required; knowledge of additional international languages is an added advantage.
