About the Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to engage closely with the stock market by tracking key developments of listed companies, industries, and financial markets. Interns will generate prompt, precise, and concise updates on corporate announcements, IPOs, earnings reports, mergers and acquisitions, and other market dynamics while working collaboratively with the research and content teams.
Role Expectations
- Continuously monitor developments in both the Indian and global stock markets during market hours.
- Keep abreast of significant market events such as company announcements, quarterly financial disclosures, IPO launches and listings, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory changes, fundraising initiatives, and leadership shifts, promptly producing accurate news bytes and market summaries.
- Track progress in both large-cap and emerging companies, identifying trending sectors, companies, and themes that are of interest to investors.
- Ensure all published information is verified against credible financial news sources for accuracy.
- Maintain daily updates on financial markets, economic events, and corporate disclosures.
- Work closely with the content team to guarantee the timely release of market news.
Applicant Criteria
- Availability for a full-time, in-office internship based in Bangalore.
- Internship commencement between July 29, 2026, and September 2, 2026.
- Commitment to a 3-month internship tenure.
- Relevant skills and genuine interest in finance and market analysis.
Additional Requirements
- Strong enthusiasm for finance, stock markets, investing, and business news.
- Consistent follower of market trends, corporate developments, IPOs, earnings, and key financial events.
- Basic familiarity with financial concepts, market terminology, and corporate actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for crafting clear, concise, and accurate news updates.
- Capability to conduct dependable online research and produce original, plagiarism-free content.
- Proficient with MS Word, Google Docs, and fundamental Excel skills.
Compensation and Schedule
Stipend range: INR 10,000 to 12,000 per month. The role operates five days a week with an informal dress code. Additional perks include complimentary snacks and beverages, and a certificate upon completion.
