Role Overview

Republic Finance is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Finance team, with a primary focus on capital markets-related work. This is a high-impact position with broad responsibilities and exposure to ABS and high-yield markets. The role reports to the Treasurer and offers regular interaction with senior leadership, including periodic presentations to executive stakeholders such as the CEO and CFO. The position works closely with finance, operations, banking partners, legal teams, and rating agencies to support the company’s funding and capital structure activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and present monthly reports tied to funding activities such as securitization trusts, asset-backed warehouse facilities, and bank asset-based credit lines.
  • Support the administration of revolving facilities by helping ensure transaction compliance, required balances, and concentration limits across multiple entities.
  • Help develop processes that improve how the company uses its funding sources, including asset-backed securitizations and revolving bank facilities.
  • Partner with banking, rating agency, legal, and trustee stakeholders during new debt-related transactions.
  • Track liquidity, securitization performance, and loan portfolio metrics, and share monthly updates that support management discussions.
  • Prepare quarterly investor presentation materials for earnings communications.
  • Produce additional ad hoc reports as requested by leadership.
  • Create standardized presentation materials for external audiences, management, and board-level discussions.
  • Collaborate with IT and data owners to improve access to reporting data and update information as new securitization needs arise.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Some background in capital markets, commercial banking, or public accounting with capital markets exposure is preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability is needed, along with a solid grasp of consumer lending and specialty lending structures such as asset-backed warehouse facilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required; SQL and financial modeling experience are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, initiative, curiosity, and creativity are important for success in this role.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is expected.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 15 days of paid time off to begin, plus one extra personal holiday.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.
  • Employee Assistance Program offering confidential mental health support.
  • Access to a large library of professional development courses.
  • Employee of the Month recognition program.
  • Charitable giving support, including an annual drive for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
  • Recurring drawings for sports tickets.
  • Professional office setting with a collaborative, friendly team culture.
