About Fonterra
Fonterra Te Mātāpuna is a global dairy co-operative owned by New Zealand dairy farmers. The organisation is built around care, collaboration, and contribution, with a focus on creating a better future for people, farmers, customers, and communities.
About the team
The People & Culture function is central to helping employees have a strong experience and enabling people leaders to do their best work.
About the role
Fonterra is seeking an Experience Lead to shape the way employees and leaders discover and use people and culture information through the Āwhina (ServiceNow) employee self-service platform. This role sits where content, user experience, and service quality meet.
You will lead the design, governance, and day-to-day experience of knowledge within the Āwhina platform, making sure information is easy to find, reliable, and simple to self-serve. Working across People & Culture, you will help build a trusted and intuitive knowledge environment that supports how the organisation communicates with its people around the world.
Key focus areas
- Define and oversee the knowledge experience so content remains clear, owned, and consistently updated.
- Improve accessibility and usability so employees and leaders can quickly locate and use the information they need.
- Use feedback and insights to continuously refine content, journeys, and user experience.
- Strengthen capability across People & Culture by supporting a network of content contributors.
- Deliver audience-targeted campaigns so the right message reaches the right people at the right time.
- Manage knowledge operations, including approvals, quality checks, and feedback handling.
- Keep onboarding materials and service tools current, practical, and easy to use.
About you
You are someone who enjoys turning complicated information into clear, useful content and is motivated by creating better experiences for users.
Why join Fonterra
Fonterra offers a supportive environment with opportunities to grow, contribute, and make an impact. Benefits include fair and equitable pay, health and wellbeing support, professional development, career growth support, flexible working where possible, employee recognition, and support for community involvement and cultural connection.
Values and inclusion
Fonterra’s values are Good Together, Better Every Day, and Every Drop Counts. These guide how the organisation works and how it delivers outcomes. The company welcomes people from all backgrounds, including different ethnicities, genders, identities, orientations, ages, abilities, neurotypes, cultures, and religions. Applicants do not need to meet every requirement to be encouraged to apply, as potential and growth are valued. If accommodations are needed during the hiring process, candidates may contact the recruiter.
Application information
Applications close at midnight on 28 June.
Additional notes
Exposure to ServiceNow or similar knowledge platforms would be advantageous. A background in marketing or communications would also be helpful, though it is not essential.
