About the School

Role Overview
In this position, you will support students with special educational needs during examinations by helping them access the exam paper and complete their answers in a fair and calm setting. You will also help ensure that assessments are run properly and in line with exam rules.
Key Duties
- Read exam questions aloud for students who need assistance.
- Write down answers for students who are unable to record them independently.
- Oversee examinations to make sure they are administered fairly and according to the required regulations.
- Help maintain a quiet, reassuring environment so students can concentrate.
- Handle the issue and return of exam papers and other materials in an organised way.

Candidate Profile
This role suits someone who is patient, understanding, professional, and comfortable supporting young people. Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and adaptability during exam seasons are important. Prior experience in a similar post would be helpful, but it is not essential.
