What the role involves

• Preparing estimates for commercial roofing projects with accuracy and speed.
• Reviewing plans, drawings, and specifications to understand scope and project requirements.
• Using takeoff and estimating tools to complete pricing and quantity analysis.
• Working closely with subcontractors and vendors to support pricing and project planning.
• Staying organized, meeting deadlines, and contributing to the success of multiple active bids.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in commercial roofing estimation.
• Solid construction knowledge with the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Experience with estimating and takeoff platforms such as PlanSwift or Bluebeam is preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and deadline management.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Compensation and benefits

• Annual salary range of $80,000 to $120,000.

Location and work setup
