About the Role
This position is for a driven entry-level or associate software engineer who will contribute to the creation, enhancement, and upkeep of software products. The role is designed for someone who wants to build practical experience while receiving guidance from experienced engineers and steadily expanding technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Help build, test, and release software applications.
- Work with senior engineers to identify, diagnose, and fix technical problems.
- Take part in code reviews and apply sound programming practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and process notes.
- Assist with system integration, bug fixing, and tuning performance.
- Contribute ideas during discussions on system design and upcoming product features.
- Keep learning new tools and technologies while strengthening programming ability.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
- Applicants should have a basic grasp of languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Knowledge of databases, APIs, and version control tools like Git is expected.
- Understanding of core software development concepts and the SDLC is important.
- Strong reasoning and troubleshooting abilities are needed.
- The role requires the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Candidates should be keen to learn and develop in a fast-moving technology environment.
Preferred Skills
- Practical exposure gained through internships or self-directed projects.
