About the internship
This remote internship focuses on building engaging electronics and STEM learning content for students in Grades 5 to 10. The role sits within a STREAM education environment that combines science, technology, research, engineering, arts, and mathematics to make learning practical and future-ready. Interns will contribute to hands-on educational experiences that help students explore technology through creative projects and classroom-ready materials.
Project and content work
- Design electronics and STEM project concepts suitable for Grades 5 to 10.
- Develop learning activities based on Arduino, IoT, sensors, and fundamental electronics.
- Support prototype creation and testing during the development process.
- Prepare worksheets, student-facing documentation, and presentation materials in simple, accessible language.
- Explore new technologies and identify ideas that can be adapted for educational use.
- Work closely with the curriculum and design teams to shape content and project execution.
- Help build project kits and classroom activity materials for practical learning.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, begin between 7 July 2026 and 11 August 2026, and commit for 3 months. Applicants should have relevant skills and a genuine interest in the subject. The role is also intended for Mechanical Engineering students, and candidates from electronics, ECE, EEE, mechatronics, robotics, instrumentation, embedded systems, IoT, or similar backgrounds are well suited.
Required background and skills
- Knowledge of electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, and basic circuit concepts.
- Comfort with Arduino, prototyping, and hands-on project development.
- Interest in STEM education and activity-based learning.
- Ability to explain technical ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
- Good documentation and presentation skills.
