Role overview
The EHS Engineer will support environmental, health, and safety compliance across a photovoltaic solar project site. This position focuses on rolling out EHS programs, carrying out inspections, and strengthening a safety-minded approach among project staff and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure the project follows all relevant environmental, health, and safety requirements at local, national, and international levels for PV solar work.
- Carry out hazard reviews and job safety analyses to spot risks and define practical control measures.
- Inspect the site regularly and complete audits to confirm EHS standards are being followed and identify gaps for improvement.
- Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks for site teams and contractors so they understand safety rules and accepted work practices.
- Maintain compliance with HSE expectations and encourage a strong safety culture across the site.
- Look into accidents, incidents, and near misses to find root causes and suggest corrective steps.

This role is based on a PV solar project site in the United Arab Emirates and is expected to be carried out on-site.
