The role combines analytical and program support work aimed at improving public health services through evidence-based practices. The selected candidate will help manage, evaluate, develop, and implement public health programs while supporting local programs and agencies in building healthier communities, advancing health equity, and reducing health disparities, especially for populations with elevated risk factors.
What You Will Do

- Build analytical reports covering performance indicators, objectives, milestones, trends, and improvement areas.
- Compile trend information for quarterly reporting and take part in management review discussions.
- Support data-sharing efforts with both internal teams and external partners.
- Apply analytical methods to improve processing, reporting, and query functions.
- Document data definitions, business rules, quality standards, and data models.
- Clean, validate, and verify data to ensure it is reliable for use.
- Identify the best methods for collecting information and independently gather required data.
Qualifications and Education
Applicants must bring at least one year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to the next lower grade in the progression line. Preferred academic backgrounds include Public Health, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, or a related data/systems field.
Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office setting, though the role requires the ability to operate in a range of settings and conditions as needed.
