Overview
This role is for a construction project coordinator with Active Homes in Edmonton, Alberta. The position is based at the worksite, and duties must be performed in person.
Language
English is required.
Education
A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience
You should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Location
This is an on-site position. Work needs to be completed at the physical location, with no remote-work option available.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors.
- Review and assess day-to-day operations.
- Organize and plan daily work activities.
- Estimate construction project budgets and prepare submissions.
- Recruit subcontractors and oversee their work.
- Build project schedules, define milestones, and track progress.
- Set up and maintain quality control policies and procedures.
- Use CADD and other computer-based software tools.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Create and carry out quality assurance programs.
- Develop risk management plans.
- Prepare reports.
