About the Company

Role Overview
As a Caregiver at the Summerset on the Coast village in Paraparaumu, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment for residents. The role is hands-on and varied, with a strong focus on personal care and day-to-day support.
Key Duties
- Serving meals and assisting residents during mealtimes
- Supporting personal hygiene tasks, including showering
- Helping with individual care plan activities such as walks and exercise
- Engaging residents in recreational activities like puzzles and table tennis
Working Pattern
This position follows a rotating roster of 4 days on and 2 days off, with shifts covering mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in aged care or a comparable caregiving role
- Clear verbal communication and the ability to build trusted relationships
- Willingness to work across a rotating roster that includes AM, PM, and night shifts
- Ability to work consistently on a 4-days-on, 2-days-off pattern
