Role overview
Campus Camps is looking for an energetic Camp Counselor to help deliver a safe, enjoyable, and engaging camp experience. The role centers on supervising campers, supporting their participation in activities, and making sure they remain safe throughout the day. You’ll also help with outdoor learning, games, and the setup of camping gear. This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to share that enthusiasm with children.
Responsibilities
- Join and encourage participation in games, sports, and other outdoor activities.
- Help create a safe, positive, and entertaining environment for a group of children.
- Keep an eye on campers and accompany them between scheduled activities.
- Lead simple learning experiences that are fun and engaging.
- Support lunch, special events, and weekly camp programs.
- Stay in communication with parents as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a camp counselor is not mandatory.
- Background in school, community, or recreational clubs, activities, or sports is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a sense of responsibility are important.
- Good communication abilities are required.
