About the Role
Seib Insurance and Reinsurance Company LLC in Qatar is hiring a Business Development Manager to strengthen its expansion efforts. This position focuses on winning new corporate accounts, building strategic partnerships, and supporting long-term revenue growth. The role also includes managing client relationships so that customers receive responsive service and sustained value.

Responsibilities
- Create and implement an active sales approach to attract and win new corporate customers for insurance offerings.
- Research the market, network effectively, and reach out directly to identify high-potential prospects.
- Lead presentations, proposal discussions, and commercial negotiations to close new contracts and partnerships.
- Spot strategic client opportunities that can broaden corporate market access and increase reach.
- Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers to support mutually beneficial business ties.
- Act as the main contact for corporate clients, learning their goals, challenges, and service expectations.
- Make sure submissions are sent accurately and on time in alignment with company rules and underwriting criteria.
- Visit clients routinely, track discussions and opportunities, and keep a detailed activity record for future use.
- Draft and share progress updates and performance reports with management.
- Handle administrative work, including using CRM tools for new submissions.
- Answer client queries and resolve insurance-related concerns.
- Assess client needs carefully and recommend insurance solutions that fit requirements and reduce risk exposure.
- Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication, proactive assistance, and added-value support.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience is needed, ideally gained in the insurance sector.
- A proven history of success in corporate sales, business development, or account management within insurance is expected.
- Strong command of both English and Arabic is required.
- Practical experience using CRM software is necessary.
- Prior exposure to insurance products is an advantage.
