Job Overview
DSP Consultants is looking for an experienced Audio/Visual Design Consultant to support consultancy work from its Global Village, Dubai office. The role calls for a strong background in AV system design, consultancy reporting, and coordination across multiple installation teams and project timelines.
Core Requirements
- An active CTS certification is mandatory.
- Hands-on knowledge of audio/visual systems from brands such as Christie, Cisco Tandberg, Extron, and Biamp is required.
- Familiarity with video wall solutions from Barco, RGB Spectrum, and Planar is important.
- Experience with digital signage platforms and equipment from Cisco, Scala, NEC, and Samsung is expected.
- The candidate should be highly skilled in preparing consultancy reports and comfortable with design-stage deliverables.
- Working knowledge of building construction and the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications will be considered an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability, are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is needed.
- The role requires a professional approach, sound judgment, integrity, diplomacy, and adaptability.
- Familiarity with AMX, Crestron, and Extron control platforms is required.
- The ability to handle tight schedules and coordinate several installation teams simultaneously is necessary to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline. A background of 5 to 8 years in audio/visual design is required, with recent experience specifically gained in a consultancy firm. Strong drafting capability is expected, including practical knowledge of AutoCAD and current design/drafting standards. Experience with Autodesk Revit 2014 is considered an added advantage.
