Role overview
JSW Inspire Institute of Sport is hiring an Athlete Manager for its Delhi team. This position focuses on guiding and coordinating the complete journey of a group of athletes across performance, commercial, and personal development areas. The role acts as the central contact for athletes and helps keep training, competition schedules, sponsor obligations, media activities, and welfare needs aligned while supporting both results and long-term career growth.
What you will do
- Act as the main point of contact for the athletes assigned to you.
- Gain a detailed understanding of each athlete’s performance ambitions, career plans, and personal needs.
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with athletes, coaches, support teams, and family members where applicable.
- Offer continuous support and practical advice on both professional and personal matters.
- Plan and coordinate competition calendars, travel, lodging, logistics, and training-related needs.
- Work closely with coaches, high-performance specialists, medical professionals, nutrition experts, psychologists, and other support staff.
- Track athlete progress and help resolve operational issues without delay.
- Help athletes work toward near-term and long-term performance targets.
- Coordinate sponsorship duties, endorsements, public appearances, and other brand-related commitments.
- Make sure athletes meet their obligations under sponsor and partner agreements.
- Partner with the commercial team to spot and activate income-generating opportunities.
- Support the growth and positioning of the athlete’s personal brand.
- Arrange interviews, public events, speaking opportunities, and content-led engagements.
- Support athletes in handling public perception and interactions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with communications teams to improve athlete visibility and audience engagement.
- Champion athlete well-being and overall development.
- Support planning around careers, education, financial literacy, and life after sport.
- Proactively surface and resolve athlete concerns.
- Help maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment.
- Build and manage relationships with federations, leagues, teams, sponsors, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the organization and its athletes in a professional manner at all times.
- Enable smooth communication between athletes and internal teams.
- Maintain athlete files, contracts, schedules, and engagement trackers.
- Prepare regular updates on activities, milestones, and commercial commitments.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and contractual requirements.
Experience required
The role calls for 3–4 years of experience in athlete management, sports operations, talent management, sports marketing, or a similar domain. Prior exposure to elite athletes, sports teams, federations, or agencies will be an advantage.

This is an on-site role based in New Delhi, Delhi, India.
