Role overview
This position involves building, fitting, setting up, and taking apart complete machine assemblies according to technical plans and blueprints. The work is carried out as part of a collaborative shop-floor team.
Core duties
- Put together and install machine parts using work instructions and engineering drawings, with hand tools, drills, spot welders, calipers, and other equipment as required.
- Coordinate with teammates to troubleshoot alignment, fit, and operating issues.
- Break down machine components and prepare them for dispatch.
- Be willing to learn and use additional equipment such as drills, grinders, forklifts, overhead hoists, and similar machinery when needed.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the employer.
