Warehouse Operative

Position overview

Dormakaba is looking for an experienced warehouse or logistics professional in Dublin to take ownership of a small stock and warehouse operation. The role is based at the company’s new offices in Citywest Business Campus and reports to the Managing Director in Ireland.

This opportunity suits someone who can manage the full warehouse flow, from incoming goods through to dispatch, while also spotting opportunities to improve processes. The successful person will be trusted to work independently, take responsibility for the facility, and help set a high standard for dormakaba’s automatic door and access solutions business.

Key duties

• Oversee the complete day-to-day running of the new warehouse, including handling any issues that arise.
• Manage warehouse activities such as put-away, order picking, dispatching, stock checks, cycle counts, and other routine operational tasks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside partners such as couriers and customers to make sure correct products are shipped accurately and on schedule.

Candidate profile

The role calls for someone with solid hands-on experience across warehouse functions, ideally with some exposure to leading a team or supervising operations. You should be comfortable driving a counterbalance forklift and handling loads of up to 25 kg when needed. Strong self-management, the ability to prioritise work, and a focus on meeting deadlines are important.

Preferred experience

Experience using SAP or another MRP/ERP system would be an added advantage.
