About the Role
Rainbow Tourism Group is seeking a dedicated Waiter to join the team at New Ambassador Hotel in Harare. This permanent, full-time position reports to the Restaurant Supervisor and is crucial for delivering excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record guest orders.
- Prepare tables with appropriate linen, silverware, and glassware.
- Proactively upsell additional menu items and beverages when suitable.
- Serve food and drinks to guests efficiently.
- Manage the delivery of checks and process bill payments.
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the guest's dining experience.
Job Specifications
- Minimum of 5 O' Level passes.
- A National Certificate in Food and Beverage Services or a comparable qualification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role is required.
- Must possess strong planning and customer care abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Requires a keen attention to detail, honesty, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
